This mathematics application focuses on the order of operations, allowing users to evaluate both random and custom expressions that involve exponentiation, division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction with integers and decimals. The app supports grouping operations with nested parentheses.

Users can evaluate expressions one operation at a time simply by selecting the desired operation. Should a user attempt an operation that cannot be executed at that moment, the app provides an explanation of why this choice is incorrect. Importantly, there are no penalties for incorrect answers.

After each operation is resolved, the solution visibly animates to its correct position within the expression. For instance, upon solving \(3 - 1\), the answer \(2\) will move to the appropriate location, causing the remaining components of the expression to shift downward. This feature helps users recognize that only one part of the expression is addressed at each step.

The app demonstrates that the initial complexity of an expression is irrelevant; users need only tackle one multiplication, division, addition, or subtraction operation per step. Additionally, a visual representation, termed the "boss triangle," illustrates the hierarchy of operations in a pyramid format: exponentiation positioned at the top, followed by multiplication and division in the middle, and finally addition and subtraction at the base. This method conveys the rules visually rather than relying on mnemonic devices.

The app offers customizable settings for generating random problems:
